I am excited to share that our AI Assistant integration with Glean is now available in the Webex App.
This integration allows joint customers to tap directly into their organization’s secure, comprehensive Enterprise Graph. This makes it easy to instantly answer questions, summarize information, and find relevant documents directly within the AI Assistant panel in Webex. The result is enhanced discussions, faster decision-making, and the elimination of disruptive context-switching for employees.
Through Glean, the AI Assistant can connect to over 100 enterprise data sources—including project management tools, sales, support and HR databases. This provides access to critical context that enables more productive conversations and quicker decision-making.
Use Cases in Action
Here are two examples of how the integration empowers employees to work faster and more efficiently:
- A sales representative is in a Webex Meeting discussing a prospect, ACME, and needs the latest opportunity details. He types a question into the AI Assistant panel: “What is the latest update on Acme?” The AI Assistant uses the Glean integration to search across Salesforce, providing a summarized, cited answer directly in Webex without the user having to switch applications.

- An engineer is added to a Webex Space to assist with a critical customer issue. While reading through existing messages, she asks the AI Assistant to get her updated on the associated Jira ticket. She immediately receives a summary of the issue in Webex, complete with a direct link to the Jira ticket for further information.

Using the Glean integration within the Webex AI Assistant is seamless.
- Easily access the AI Assistant Panel within a Webex Meeting or a Space.
- Select Glean from your data sources.
- Ask your question.
When you ask the AI Assistant your question, it will now search across both internal Webex data and your accessible data within Glean to provide a comprehensive answer. It will also point you directly to the source material if you need to reference it for more information.
The AI Assistant Integration with Glean is now available in the Webex App for customers with the Webex Suite Enterprise License.
